Why the minimum order matters more than the unit price
Traditional packaging printers quote a low unit price and then require thousands of units. Arka’s model is the opposite: a higher price per box, but an order quantity a small shop can actually use before the design changes. Compare the two on total cash out and on how much stock you will still have in a year, not on cents per box.
Getting the box right the first time
- Measure the product, not the old box. Internal dimensions are what matter, and a box that is slightly too big costs you in filler and in dimensional shipping weight for the life of the product.
- Order a sample first. Colour on a screen and colour on kraft board are different things, and printing on unbleached board shifts everything warmer.
- Check dimensional weight. Carriers bill on size as well as weight, so shaving an inch off a mailer can be worth more per order than the discount on the box.
