Buying cigars online without wasting money
The cheapest way into an unfamiliar brand is a sampler rather than a box. A five- or ten-stick sampler across a few wrappers tells you what you like for a fraction of the cost of a box you turn out not to enjoy, and the per-stick premium is smaller than it looks once you count the boxes you would have got wrong.
What the labels on the listing mean
- Wrapper — the largest single influence on flavour. Connecticut is mild and creamy, Habano and Maduro progressively fuller and sweeter.
- Vitola — the size and shape. A thicker ring gauge burns cooler and longer; a lancero concentrates the wrapper flavour.
- Strength versus body. Strength is nicotine, body is how much flavour fills the mouth. A cigar can be full-bodied and mild, and the two get confused constantly.
Storage is not optional
Cigars dry out fast in normal room air and a dried cigar cannot be rescued by rehydrating it quickly. If you are buying more than you will smoke in a fortnight, budget for a humidor and a two-way humidity pack at the same time — around 65 to 70 percent relative humidity is the range to hold.
How the offers work
- Free shipping with no minimum is applied automatically, which changes the maths on small orders — a single box no longer needs padding out to clear a threshold.
- Category sales run on a hand-selected group of products and are applied through the link rather than typed in, so they will not appear as a code on your order.
Cigora ships to US addresses only, and every order requires age verification at checkout and an adult signature on delivery.
Code performance — what our own data shows
5 live offers as of this update: 2 type-in codes and 3 automatic deals, one of which (free shipping) is listed twice under slightly different titles — so really 4 distinct discounts:
- 25OFF150 — $25 off orders of $150 or more
- CIG15OFF — $15 off your next order of $50 or more
- Free shipping — no minimum spend, applied automatically
- Up to 40% off a hand-picked selection — applied by clicking through our link, not by a code
How to use a Cigora promo code
- Pick a sampler or a specific box and add it to your cart.
- If your cart clears $150, try 25OFF150 at checkout; if it’s over $50 but under that, try CIG15OFF instead.
- We haven’t seen the two codes stack on the same order — treat them as one-per-order unless Cigora’s own checkout says otherwise.
- For the 40%-off selection, click through from this page first — that deal applies automatically and isn’t a code you type in.
- Have ID ready at delivery: every Cigora order needs age verification and an adult signature.
Cigora FAQs
Does Cigora ship outside the US?
No — Cigora ships to US addresses only, and every order needs age verification plus an adult signature on delivery.
Do all the deals on this page need a code?
No. Only the $25-off and $15-off offers use a type-in code. The free-shipping and up-to-40%-off deals apply automatically once you click through from this page.
Can I combine the $25 and $15 codes on one order?
We haven’t seen them stack. Use whichever one your order qualifies for.
What’s the cheapest way to try a brand I haven’t smoked before?
A 5- to 10-stick sampler across a couple of wrapper types, rather than committing to a full box.
