GARVEE Coupon Codes & Promo Codes — Tools, Equipment & Home
What GARVEE is good for
The range is broad and skewed toward things that are awkward to buy locally: commercial kitchen equipment, workshop tools, agricultural and yard equipment, larger furniture and rugs. If you are shopping for a small consumable, you will do better elsewhere. If you are shopping for a piece of equipment that a local supplier would order in anyway, this is where the pricing gets interesting.
Read the specification, not the category
Marketplace listings in this category vary a lot in quality. Three things are worth checking on every product page before you spend:
- Power and voltage — commercial equipment is often listed in configurations that assume a supply you may not have at home. Check the plug type and the amperage draw.
- Dimensions and weight — delivery for heavy items is usually kerbside. Measure the route into the building, not just the space it will end up in.
- What is in the box — accessories and mounting hardware are frequently sold separately on this kind of listing.
How the codes work
GARVEE runs two shapes of offer:
- Spend-threshold codes — a fixed amount off once the basket passes a stated total. These are the ones worth planning a basket around, because they are worth proportionally more the closer you sit to the threshold.
- Category codes — a percentage off one department, such as furniture or rugs. They will be rejected on anything outside that department, which is the usual reason a code appears not to work.
Codes are entered at checkout and generally do not stack with an item that is already discounted on the listing page. If a sale price and a code are both available, work out which is worth more rather than assuming they combine.
Before you order
For anything motorised or heated, check the warranty terms and where service is handled. On equipment at this price point the after-sales route is the part that varies most between sellers.
