Kinship is an online luxury marketplace founded in Tokyo in 2022. Instead of holding its own stock, it works with a network of luxury retailers, mainly in Japan, and handles ordering, authentication, dispatch and customer service. It says it sells new items only — no second-hand or resale.

Designer shoes — men's and women's sneakers, loafers, boots and more.
Clothing — ready-to-wear from well-known luxury houses.
Bags and accessories — leather goods, small accessories and more.

The catalogue features brands such as Loro Piana, Goyard, The Row and Maison Margiela, among others. Availability changes quickly because stock comes from partner boutiques.

Before you buy: what to check

Kinship states that every retail partner is audited and every item is authenticated before shipping, and it publishes a 14-day return policy. Independent signals are mixed, though: its public Trustpilot profile is currently not visible, it relies mainly on reviews hosted on its own website, and third-party website checkers give conflicting safety scores. For a luxury purchase, that means taking sensible precautions:

Pay with buyer protection — a credit card or PayPal, not a bank transfer.
Compare the price with the brand's own store and authorised retailers. A price far below everyone else is a warning sign.
Read the return terms for your country before ordering, including who pays return shipping.
Keep every record — order confirmation, product photos and tracking.
Start small if it is your first order.

Shipping and duties

Kinship offers free global express shipping on orders above a set value and says import fees are included. Check the threshold and delivery estimate at checkout for your country.

How to save at Kinship

First-order discount: new customers can usually get a welcome code — compare it with any larger percentage code listed here.
Sitewide codes: percentage-off codes on the whole order appear from time to time.
Sale sections: sale items can be combined with free shipping on eligible orders.

Read what each code covers — some exclude certain brands or already-reduced items.
