How to pay less on crossbows and optics
- Look at the package deals first. Crossbow packages that include a scope, quiver and bolts are almost always cheaper than buying the same parts separately.
- Previous-generation models. When a new Ravin model launches, the outgoing one is usually discounted heavily and shoots much the same.
- Stock up on bolts and broadheads. These are consumables, and the per-unit price drops sharply in multi-packs.
- Buy before the season. The deepest sitewide sales tend to land ahead of hunting season and around the main holiday weekends.
- One code per order. Promo codes and sitewide sales normally do not stack.
